Meet the Founders

Sadiqa Brown

Co-Founder & Owner

Sadiqa is a graduate of Howard University with a Bachelor's of Business Administration in International Business with a concentration in Finance. Prior to attending Howard, she worked at adidas America in Basketball Promotions where she worked with high profile NBA athletes, college and high school teams across the country. Her role in Basketball Promotions taught her how to strategically promote a brand, engage high-profile clients, provide top-notch customer service, and to proactively anticipate a client's need.

During her years as a Derivatives Senior Manager and later transitioning to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer at Freddie Mac, Sadiqa managed the servicing of a multi-million dollar portfolio, analyzed trends and strategies, and identified risks and evaluated their potential impact.

In addition, Sadiqa has been a successful real estate investor for the past 16 years. Her business knowledge, commitment to excellence, and experiences give her the advantage necessary to successfully build and brand New Digz Consignment into a multi-million dollar business.

Kelli Queen

Co-Founder & Owner

Kelli is a graduate of Virginia Union University earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance. While in college and as a young adult, Kelli turned her passion for fashion into employment at several retail venues including Victoria Secret, Lacoste, and Lord and Taylor.

She began shopping consignment in her early 20s, way before consignment and "thrifting" became a trend. Kelli has a keen sense of what it takes to be successful in a retail environment, which includes having ample product knowledge, being sales-oriented, and being customer-focused. She chooses to refer to patrons of New Digz as clients because of the ongoing relationships established with consumers and consigners alike.

In addition, her 15 years in Operational Risk and Vendor Management at a Fortune 50 company directly benefits the day-to-day operations of the boutique.
