Why Condition Matters

At New Digz, every item is carefully inspected and assigned a condition level so you know exactly what you’re buying before you check out. Because we sell one-of-a-kind consignment pieces, condition plays a key role in both value and expectations.

Understanding condition helps you:

• Shop with confidence by knowing what level of wear to expect
• Compare value fairly, from items that look nearly new to pieces with gentle signs of wear
• Make informed decisions based on your personal preferences and budget

All items meet our quality standards, and we use consistent condition definitions across our site so there are no surprises when your order arrives. Each item is categorized as NEW, Excellent, Very Good, or Good. Handbags can be in Vintage condition.

New
Items are new.
Fashion items include tags, box and dust bag. Jewelry items include box and/or pouch and may or may not include tags.

Excellent
Items are like new, without tags.
Fashion items are clearly unused. Jewelry may have been lightly handled. Tags are not attached and boxes or dust bags may not be included.

Very Good
Items show minor sign(s) of wear.
Clothing and shoes may show wear such as light markings or fading. Handbags and accessories may show wear such as lightly worn corners, light scratches and interior wear. Jewelry may show wear such as minor scratches, nicks and/or dents.

Good
Items show moderate sign(s) of wear.
Clothing and shoes may show wear such as moderate markings or creasing. Handbags and accessories may show wear such as worn corners, moderate scratches and interior wear. Jewelry may show wear such as moderate scratches, nicks and/or dents.

Vintage
Vintage items are pre-owned pieces that are typically 20+ years old and may show visible signs of age or wear consistent with their history. These details are part of the item’s character and authenticity.

Any notable wear, markings, or imperfections are reflected in the price and noted in the product description when applicable. All vintage pieces still meet our quality standards and are selected for their style, craftsmanship, and uniqueness.

*Many of our items come with original tags, boxes, dust bags and authenticity cards. When these are available, they will be mentioned in the item description.
